Virus and spyware removal (system clean-up)

If your machine is infected with viruses and spyware, I provide a complete clean-up service. While I can perform this at your premises, it is generally more cost effective for me to remove the machine, perform the clean-up and return it. This is due to the time it can take to run the several complete scans required, plus there are often particularly troublesome items that anti-virus and anti-spyware programs cannot remove. These have to be investigated and removed manually once a method has been determined.

As well as removing the malware, I'll also check the status of the machine generallly, and apply my experience to improving the performance and reliability of your machine.

I charge a flat rate of £60 for a complete clean-up, if taking the machine away. Otherwise, I will charge for time taken, which can be 4 or 5 hours, though I will advise if I think the infestation is small, and can be dealt with more quickly.

Notes:

Sometimes, the malware has caused damage to your operating system that's still there after its been removed. In these cases, I can run a process which will restore your system to its full potential in 99% of cases
