If your machine has died, it may be possible to resurrect without costing the earth. Often ‘dead’ machines are caused by a single damaged component. When its replaced, everything is back to normal. Alternatively there can also be many damaged components – and a replacement may be more economically viable. I can inspect and advise accordingly – and effect the repair or build a replacement machine, if required.
Slow machine? More RAM often sorts this out.
No back-up capability? I can supply and fit a DVD writer.
Hard drive running out of space? A larger replacement may be the answer – the new drive can be cloned from the old, so your system will behave in the same way – but with more space.
PC not keeping up with the current games - an uprated graphics card and/or processor may fix.
These and other upgrades I can provide at reasonable cost.
Notes:
If you have an older machine, you might want to consider replacement rather than upgrade, as there is a limit to how much you can upgrade (without completely rebuilding) as many current components will tend to be incompatible. I can advise on specific machines.
I do not to repair physically damaged laptops (eg, broken power input, cracked screen, drink spilt on keyboard), though I do replace hard drives, CD/DVD drives and upgrade memory.
