Broadband and wireless network set up and support

If you're thinking of getting or have just signed up for broadband, I can:-

• advise on supplier to meet your requirement
• fully manage your broadband acquisition and set up, if wanted
• set up your new broadband after its been activated, if you are having problems doing this
  

Sharing your broadband connection is often a good idea - and the best method is by installing a wireless router. This will allow any wireless enabled devices (eg, laptop) in your house to access the broadband connection. I can supply the router or set up one you've bought yourself, or provided by your ISP. Wireless routers also allow wired connections - typically the main PC will be connected to it via an ethernet cable, though this is not necessary once the router is set up. 

Once the network is in place, you can also share files and printers (eg, everybody in the house can print to the same printer) - I can set this up for you too.

Please note, BT line based broadband can be problematic if any of the following is true:-

• your phone line connection isn't good quality
• you connect it to an internal adapter that's connected to main input by substandard wiring 
• you are a long way from the exchange
• too many people are connected to your exchange.
